Running is an all-encompassing experience—heightening awareness of both body and surroundings. Bryan Bhark, longtime Brooks Innovation Product Designer, brings this same mindset to his work.
Drawing inspiration from the dynamic running culture of Seattle, he helps shape the performance footwear that has defined Brooks for decades.
When NBBJ redesigned Brooks’ Seattle headquarters in 2024, the goal was to create a space that mirrored the calm, rhythmic movement of a runner’s stride. Through natural tones and flowing forms, they crafted an environment that inspires creativity, focus, and collaboration—one where Bryan can keep the runner at the center of every design decision.
This short film explores that vision through Bryan’s perspective—his connection to the space, his process, and the city that fuels it.
